Things that should be sold in the store:

-Character Slots (would've prefered included in campaigns, but this works too)
-*Campaigns (includes CE/Preorder but limited, see below)
-Guild Wars Soundtracks / DirectSong Packs
-Choices for Login Screens / Interfaces (able to toggle em)
-Merchandise
+T-Shirts
+Customizable Coffee Mugs (Skills/Char/Boss/Name printed on it)
+Plushies (Possibly the B-day presents one, so it be a yearly series)
+Etc...

Things that should not be sold in the store:

-Expanded Storage/Tabs (should remain as update or come with campaign)
-Gold/Materials/Weapons/Armor of any kind (be it vanity or not)
-Emotes (once again, free as update or with campaign)
-Character Apearance/Name (should be npc, available to all and cost in-game gold)
-Skills (allows for unbalanced gameplay)
-Guild Halls/Guild Upgrades (remain in game and in game gold)
-Auction House (included as either global update or with campaign)
-Mini-Campaigns (keep as update if more "minor" content for all to enjoy)
-Minipets*/CE upgrades*/Preorder Items*(Reasons/Situations listed below)

*Collector's Edition/Preorders/MiniPets should remain a time based limited release items. As far as Minipets go, they are a reward for staying with the game for so long. I understand that after you receive them they are yours to do what ever with, but allowing it to be bought for real cash lessens its value and collectibility. For CE/Preorder's, I think it would be best to have them on the site for a limited time. Such as the CE/Preorder would be available for purchase before the game is released (just not playable/usable until it's opening day) and then after release in stores, Preorders would be taken down and CE are available for an additional 1-2 months. If they are available indefinitely, they become less valuable and even less worthwhile then now.

Lastly, I don't want to seem shrewd/cheap for my opinion on the No's list. It is just my opinion (as well as others out there) that if we start paying for in game content (be it useless or not) we are nickel-and-diming ourselves to getting closer to becoming pay monthly game. I joined GW not only cuz of no monthly fee, but that as long as I keep up with the campaigns alone, I am on equal footing as everyone else who plays legally. To start legally allowing special content/items to those who can afford may/may not unbalance in game economy, but lessens the joy one might feel when they do get that special item, or leaves player feeling abadoned becasue they didn't want to shell out more money for content on top of paying for the campaign. While a majority of the items of the No list should be available (ESPECIALLY storage), it should remain as a in game gold transaction or update, and not a real life cash transaction. Sorry for repeating alot of what was said out there (completely agree with you "The Shadow"), but im just giving my 2 cents.

Lets do more then just character slots for the Guildwars store. Let's get...excellent, and I do mean excellent, prints of like shots of your characters at they're finest.

I'd love to have like good sized images of my Freit Brothers. I'd love to see these excellent things where say if your a spellcaster or something, your in the motion of casting a spell (Maybe say you want Fireball, so you get a fireball drawn in your hand, etc.)

Or, what about these massive (like say four feet or even a wider versions) views of Old Ascalon, Current Ascalon, Kaieng Center, Kuzrick Forests, etc.etc.? Again, it'd have to be good stuff.

Perhaps even you just want something with one of your Rangers pets? Maybe like a mousepad, t-shirt, etc.

Wouldn't stuff like that make you wanna go "WOOOO!" for the hardcore, real fun players like me? That sort of stuff would be excellent, but would have to be nicely done. I'd even pay a fair price to have this stuff done too. Why not? It'd be a one of a kind

Course, something like this would take a bit of time to do. And I hope someone like the lovely Ms. Gaile Gray sees this post, and the posts with ideas afterwards and sends it to ANETS way, but I'd most certainly want to buy stuff.

Oh, and please, dont harass ANET. I will inform the mods if people post stupid things like "They're just going to charge us for new in-game stuff!". I am tired of seeing those posts and will ask for them to be refrained from being postsed here. This thread is for ideas, good ideas and fair ideas. Dont turn it in your field.

Things I would like to see:

Collector Weaponsets
Special Emotes
Customized pets
Specialized armor sets

Really the imagination is the limit. If the following are met:

1) Revenue assists in developing more content/support
2) Lack of said items does not create disadvantage. (just shiny/bling stuff)

I have absolutely no problem in ANet putting more than just slots up for sale. If you don't want to spend the money on it, don't buy it and move on.

I would like to see the preorders in there, for nightfall and onwards, since all the nearest stores that had the factions preorder were out of stock till a couple days before the 1 day head start for preorderers

And to add some more comments. I'd like to see anything that has a cartoonish head of Prince Rurik on it. A nice T-Shirt with just his head on it would do great. I've got a collection of T-Shirts with random emblems on the front, and a giant Rurik head would top the pile!

Not that I WANT to see it... but I know that if Anet wants to make millions they should allow ppl to buy the skills. 50 cents each.

And otherwise they should start producing little figurines which can be made to mimic any of your characters, and then sent to you for your pleasure.

The ability to buy upgrades for your account.

A) Storage slots. In bunches of 5.
B) Regional District changes. 2 Changes per payment. (Allow people to change to EU and US more often)
C) Pre-order Items/CE Effects.

And also, but i don't think you should really have to pay for this.

The ability to change the look of the UI ingame, and the login screen. All the previous older versions and styles should be available, aswell as all of the UI buttons, menu screens, styles etc.

I really don't like the new UI. If im going to pay to play a game i like for a period of time, id like to have the ability to make it look how i want.

Character specific Storage facility by adding/buying extra tab(s) for our main account storage facilities.

Guild Hall Expansion Pack - Whereby Guild Banners, flags, standards (like the French and Roman Eagles), Bar, Training area (like in the Battle Isles), Post Office (for leaving messages for members), Guild Bank, Guild Barber, Guild Music Anthem, Members houses, Trophy Room, etc can be added.

Also guild member specific items, ie Officers Gorgets or sashes - maybe a Guild/Alliance Honour system (Medal, rank, title, baton) for Guild/Alliance PvP Champion, or for PVE Guild Veterans/old warhorses, etc. I think this would help some of the guilds in recruiting & retaining members - after all this is GUILD WARS.

Maybe a membership to an exclusive/elite club/guildhall/Association for players/professions that have achieved certain things, ie, Killed Glint or Maw by soloing, or something like the Rangers of Tyria Association etc (open to other suggestions).

None of the above would affect gameplay or economy.

i'd definitely like to buy some more space for my storage box through the store. well i could of course buy another charakter slot to make a storage charakter, but swapping items would get quite annoying imho, and if you can add charakter slots, why not some storage room?

Cause obviously we'd all like to have s torage things, but it should not be a 'Purchase Item Only', but a Patch/Update/Expansion thing.

I thought that maybe this could be an EXPANSION PACK downloadable from the shop.

I think that sometimes we forget this is GUILD WARS and therefore the Guilds should become more prominent. Some Guilds are small and so these 'ideas' could be a way of improving the 'Guild' part of Guild Wars and aiding smaller guilds in recruiting and retaining members by offering 'more Guild features'.

Store should have pre-order for Nightfall.

That's it.
Anything else for ingame use will ruin the game.

Agreed.

Anything that is allowed to be purhcased for In-Game use will indeed ruin the game and make otehr people go "I just cant afford this....I dont want to play"
scenaiors.

I like the idea of having collectables like Devona, Mheldno, Danika, etc.etc. minatures (like say 4 inches tall or a bit bigger). Still loving the idea of artwork, mugs, etc.etc.
